Ismael Gallery, 560 Broadway, New York, Oct 1988. People and Animal in Movement was an installation of mixed media on transparent fiberglass screens. It was accompanied by sounds specially composed by Andy Kaye, and culminated in a performance by musicians and poet-performers acting out their poems inspired by Hanne’s art.

These see-through pieces are best presented hanging freely, to allow light and sight to pass unhindered through from both sides, or at a certain distance from a bare wall which in turn becomes a background for the shadow drawings.
