As part of the exhibit "Paintings of New York" at the prestigious Rockefeller Townhouse Gallery 1992, Hanne included a performance called "Painting the Dodge" during which she turned her automobile into an idiosyncratic art car by decorating it with images of the street scenery from the exhibit’s "Our House" painting.

Here in 2014 after being parked on 11 street in New York City for 22 years H7L is Re-Painting The Dodge in preparation for transport to the Art Car World Museum. Invited by the Art Car enthusiast and Director Harrod Blank who she first encountered while she was “Painting the Dodge” in 1992. The Dodge will become missed on 11 street as it had become one of NYC's tourist attractions thousands of people got photographed with the Dodge from all over the world.
